The Library does not carry tax forms, but most tax forms and publications can be printed off of the pages below and staff are happy to help you print forms. Many of the popular publications regarding tax preparation are available for checkout from the Library. The IRS and the state of Illinois will start accepting tax returns for tax year 2024 on January 27, 2025.

- The Elmhurst Park District provides income tax assistance for seniors age 60 and older doing simple tax returns at Mary E. Kies Recreation at Centennial Park from February 3, 2025 through April 10, 2025. This service is by appointment only. Call 630-993-8193 to set up an appointment.
- The College of DuPage can prepare tax returns for all community members regardless of age and income level. This service is by appointment only from February 15, 2025 through April 9, 2025 and is performed by accountancy students supervised by IRS-certified faculty.
- The AARP foundation Tax Aide Locator will lead you to tax preparation help for individuals with low-to moderate-income, especially those 60 and older.
