Homebound Delivery

We can bring the Library to you! Our outreach delivery service seeks to make the Library accessible for Elmhurst residents who are temporarily or permanently unable to come to the Library.

  • What is home delivery?

Library staff and volunteers will deliver library materials (books, audiobooks, CDs, etc.) to homebound residents.

  • Who is eligible?

Any person who is temporarily or permanently unable to come to the Library because of illness, disability, or other factors who lives within the City of Elmhurst (and has an EPL card in good standing) is eligible for home delivery service.

  • When is it available?

Deliveries are made on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year.

  • How do I apply?

Fill out the online form.  If you have any questions, please contact Elmhurst Public Library via email at outreach@elmlib.org or phone (630) 279-8696.
