Media Match Jr.
for kids up to grade 8
Media Match Jr. is EPL’s recommendation service for the youngest members of our community! Start by filling out our kids form which asks additional questions to make sure we can make the best possible suggestions for children.
Homework Help
Whether you have a math problem, research paper or tough science assignment, Homework Help from Tutor.com can assist you. Students in grades K-12, early college, and curious adults can work with a tutor in English or Spanish. Subjects covered include math, science, English, and social studies. Tutoring and Career Center available from 10 a.m. – Midnight everyday.

- World Book Encyclopedia: More than 25,000 encyclopedia articles for students from grades 4 through 12.
- Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia: An easy-to-use encyclopedia, with over 25,000 articles for elementary, middle school and high school students.
- Scholastic GO!: An encyclopedia for grades 3–8. Includes information on animals, U.S. states, countries, science, and more.
This is a compilation of the former databases: Amazing Animals, America the Beautiful, Lands and Peoples, New Book of Knowledge, New Book of Popular Science, Grolier Encyclopedia, and Encyclopedia Americana.
Middle School Volunteers
Positions vary throughout the year depending on what kind of help is needed in the Kids’ Library. Some sample volunteer opportunities may include assembling activity kits or assisting with programs. Applications are currently closed.
Middle School Influencers
This group meets from 6-7 p.m. the first Monday of the month in the Middle School Hangout. Join us for snack, games, crafts, and more! Service hours are awarded for each meeting.
