Special Needs
Outreach Volunteer Maurice Burgener received a Character Counts award in April 2005 for his numerous volunteer activities throughout the city. He delivers materials weekly to EPL patrons who can't make it in to the library.
The Elmhurst Public Library staff and volunteers provide special technology, services, materials and equipment for patrons with vision impairments and other special needs.
For the month of May we are taking applications for volunteers interested in leading storytime, book discussions or book talks at Elmhurst senior living facilities. Call Joyce McIntosh, Outreach and Programming Librarian to fill out an application.
