Call a member of the Kids’ Library staff at (630) 279-8696 anytime the Library is open. We’re happy to answer reference questions, and we can also find books and other materials and set them aside for you to pick up at the Checkout Desk or the Drive-up Window.
The Library is open Monday – Friday, 9am – 9pm; Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sunday 1pm – 5pm.

Night Owl Reference Service
When the Elmhurst Public Library is closed, you can call the
Night Owl Reference Service to ask reference questions.
There are helpful reference librarians on the line during these hours:
Monday – Friday, 9pm – midnight; Saturday & Sunday, 5pm – midnight.
This service will be closed on: Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th & 5th,
Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
