How to do an Author Search
Select "author"
An author search finds authors, composers, illustrators, organizations, performers, editors, conferences, countries and government agencies. |

Enter author:
Type the author (e.g. Shakespeare, William). |
|
|
Limit Search:
You may limit your search to items owned by Elmhurst Public Library (or any other library in MLS) using the pulldown menu. |

|
Click Go or press "Enter" to submit your search. |
|
|
Click on the book or item:
Look through the list of results. There is an icon to the right of each item that represents the item's format (book, large type, CD, video, etc.) To select the item you want, click on the "Show Call Number" button or the title. |

|
View record:
Read the call number and check on the item's availability. When finished, click the "Start Over" button to run a new search. |
